We have a class or exercise session suitable for you, whatever your level of fitness, your pain, your posture, or your age. (Schedule below.)

Our physiotherapists conduct personalised exercise sessions in small groups, either in Physiotherapy Gym Sessions (PGSs) or classes, as well as offering 1:1 exercise and pilates supervision. We also offer group and customised pre and post natal exercise programmes, as well as gentle strengthening and balance classes !

You will have fun while having an overall body workout. We encourage you to enrol for a series of classes or PGSs within a Term, so that you can see how quickly you progress and improve.

Yoga and Pilates with Physiotherapy

Yoga stretches; clinical pilates, postural awareness exercises, trunk stability and strengthening exercises are incorporated in all our classes.  Classes and PGSs utilize the reformer, the trapeze table, exercise balls, balance beams and duradiscs as well as mat work.

Screening session

You must have an individual screening session with a physiotherapist before you enrol in a series of classes so that we can show you the key areas you should be working on for your postural type, pain or level of fitness.

Individual Exercise/Pilates Sessions

Whether you are fit, unfit or still working on your pain or problem, you may prefer to work with a physiotherapist in an individual 1:1 session. We recommend all clients to do this to be sure you are not 'taking the easy way out' in the classes!

Physiotherapy Gym Sessions (PGS)

These sessions may be right for you if you are not yet ready to join one of our classes or prefer to do a more personalised programme. This progressive physiotherapy session permits you to go through your exercises under the supervision of a physiotherapist (60 minutes). We design a programme specifically for you for your PGS Session.

Gentle Strengthening & Balance Exercise Classes (New!)

Wanting to do some gentle exercises to improve your flexibility, balance, posture and overall strength? This one hour fitness class, supervised by Physiotherapist Kim Gerber, combines elements of a variety of disciplines including ChiBall Method™ (runs Monday evenings).  Exercise screening and bookings are required.  For details, please phone us at  Physio Posture Fitness in Randwick on (02) 9399 7399.

All physio classes combine yoga and pilates exercises, flexibility work and overall strengthening and stability work suitable for your level of fitness.
** It is essential you have an individual assessment (exercise screening) by our Physiotherapists; this also permits you to claim off your Health Fund. 

Pilates reformers, trapeze table, exercise bands and gym balls are used in most of the classes so you will also have a lot of fun while you are getting fit and more flexible.

Note:  you must enrol (pre-book) in all pilates classes or PGS sessions, as 4-7 participants is our maximum number.  Ask us for details! 

You must have no pain to attend the intermediate classes.
